Healthcopoeia foundation and PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry jointly organized a symposium entitled “Driving towards sustainable Pharma” on 8th October 2022 at PHD chambers of Commerce and Industry, Siri institutional Area.
In this symposium, Metro College of Health Sciences & Research, Greater Noida has been awarded the medal of honour for being “Best Pharmacy College in North India”. Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, MD, MCHSR has received the honour through Chief Guest H.E. Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Mongolia & Dr. Atul Nasa, Deputy Drug Controller, CDSCO & President, Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association (IPGA).
Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta Madam congratulated the faculty and students for this award. She added that college should work hard to be awarded many more awards like this in the future as such awards and recognition would certainly be motivating factors to scale great heights and provide world class education to the students
The program was started at 10:00 AM with introduction by Dr. Ravi Rathod, Joint Secretary, PHDCCI. The blessings of divine have been invoked with lamp lightening ceremony and the guests were felicitated. The welcome remarks were given by Shri Saket Damia, President, PHDCCI.
The session was started by Dr. Sameer Gupta, Co-chair, Hospitals & Diagnostic committee, PHDCCI and Group Director Metro Group of Hospitals. He enlightened the gathering as an industry representative.
The symposium was addressed by Prof. Bejon Mishra, Expert on International consumer policy and Dr. PL Sahu, Director, National Dope Testing LaboratoryProf. Rajendra B. Kakde, Advisor-1, AICTE and Dr. Atul Nasa, President, Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association. A Consumer awareness program on Dietary supplements was launched by National Dope testing Laboratory, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports in collaboration with aware consumers. The chief Guest H.E. Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Mongolia to India spoke and given his invaluable remarks over pharmaceutical sector.The session was concluded with felicitation of Dr. Atul Nasa and a vote of thanks was given by Dr. Nasir Jamal, secretary, PHDCCI.
After tea break, the technical session was convened on Pharmaceuticals which was chaired by Shri Atul Nasa, Deputy Drug Controller, CDSCO and moderated by Dr. Rajiv Chhibber, Vice president, External affairs, Sahajan and Medical Technologies Pvt Ltd. The panelists were Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Pro-Chancellor, LNCT University and Secretary, LNCT group; Dr. Reenu Yadav, Dean & principal, IES University, Bhopal; Prof. Rajendra B. Kakde, AICTE, Dr. Gaurav Pathak, H&H Healthcare & Cosmetics Pvt Ltd; and Shri Nitesh Sharma, RedLotusPharmatec Ltd. The concluding remarks and vote of thanks were given by Dr. Sameer Gupta Sir.
The discussion was followed by award distribution ceremony and the awards were distributed by Prof. Rajendra B. Kakde, Dr. P.L Sahu and Shri Atantra das Gupta (Co-Chair, Medical devices Committee, PHDCCI and Head, Samsung HME)
