The MTNL Perfect Health Mela 2017 was held from 5th to 7th October 2017, which was organised by Dr K.K Aggarwal, the president of Indian Medical Association in collaboration with Health Care Foundation at Talkatora stadium, New Delhi. 35 Colleges and Schools of Nursing participated in various events. Eighty (80) students from Metro college of Nursing participated in most of the events such as Poster making, Painting, Kavita path, Slogan writing, Model exhibition, skit, Collage making, Group western dance, Solo dance, Fashion show, and Nukkad Natak etc and Metro nursing students have proved their credentials by winning five 2nd Prizes in model exhibition, Painting, Debate, Western group dance and Collage.
One of our GNM I Year students (Mr.Junaid) won the first prize of cash award Rs.5000 for on the spot dance competition. The Health Mela events were coordinated by Mrs.Monika Dean, Asst Professor OBG Nursing along with other faculty members.
