Name : Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) program on Essential Nursing Skills

Metro College of Nursing, Greater Noida in collaboration with Metro Hospitals, Sector 11 & 12, Noida organised a Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) program on Essential Nursing Skills on 11th & 12th of December 2023.
The objectives of the CNE program were as follows:
a. To improve the essential nursing skills of the nursing staff.
b. To ensure compliance with the best practices and protocols in healthcare.
c. To enhance patient safety and care quality.
d. To facilitate knowledge transfer through faculty-led demonstrations.
The faculty trainers were associate and assistant professors Mr.Parshant,Mr. Sachin,
Ms. Sonal,Ms. Shallu,
Ms. Sadhna. The topics covered during the training included care of central line, intravenous cannulation, urinary catheterization, oral hygiene, hand hygiene and care of dressing.
The dedication and expertise of the faculties significantly contributed to the success of the program. The re-demonstrations conducted with the staff nurses ensured that the knowledge and skills imparted during the program were effectively transferred and retained.
