On [Insert Date], the students of B.Sc. Nursing (3rd Semester) from Metro College of Nursing had the opportunity to visit the Milk Dairy in Patparganj. This educational visit was organized to provide the students with practical insights into the operations of a dairy plant, complementing their theoretical knowledge.
𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐬. 𝐍𝐞𝐡𝐚
The visit commenced with a brief session conducted by Ms. Neha, the Senior Executive Officer at the dairy. During this session, Ms. Neha provided an introduction and basic information about the dairy, elaborating on the various products offered under the brand names "SAFAL" and "DHARA". She explained the importance of these products in the market and their unique qualities.

Ms. Neha further enriched the session by displaying informative videos detailing the different stages of milk processing:

The removal of impurities and solid particles from the milk.
Homogenization: The process of breaking down fat molecules in the milk to ensure uniform consistency.
𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Adjusting the milk to a desired fat content.
Pasteurization: Heating the milk to a specific temperature to kill harmful bacteria, ensuring it is safe for consumption.
Plant Tour
Following the session, the students were taken on a guided tour of the plant. Here, they observed the entire milk processing chain, starting from the collection of milk from villages, through the quality checking stages, and finally to the pasteurization and storage processes. The highlight of the tour was visiting the storage area, which houses 12 massive containers, each with a capacity of 100,000 litres.
