Faculty and students of Metro College of Nursing attended 21st Annual Foundation course in Palliative Care organised by Cansupport and Dr.BRA Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS ) on 11th and 12th of March 2024. Prof. Pravin Prakash Principal, Metro College of Nursing under the aegis of Metro Group of Hospitals- Healthcare and Education took the stage as a Guest of Honour during the inaugural session of the course. The course briefed on oncological emergencies, principles and practice of palliative care, grief and bereavement counselling, multi- disciplinary team in care and professional self care. The course equipped the participants with the knowledge to manage symptoms and provide appropriate nursing care to the patients.
