Creating teamwork, discipline and dedication among the students is one of the vision of our respected Managing director, Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta and to cultivate these among the students,
Metro College of Nursing, hosted the much awaited Annual Sports Day on the 14th and 15th of March 2024. The morning was filled with great enthusiasm, team spirit, energy and zeal at C. K. PlayStation Knowledge Park II.
The event started with the formal lighting of the flame by Dr. Kanak Lata, Director- education, Prof. Pravin Prakash, Principal, MCN, Dr. Praveen Gaur, Principal- pharmacy and other dignitaries followed by March past.
Students were divided into four houses-Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. Captain and Vice Captain were selected from the senior batches. The faculty in charge and co-in-charge for each house were selected for coordination with the students.
Various sports events conducted which included volleyball, badminton, Kabbadi, chess, carrom, tug of war, all athletics and fun games for faculty. Students participated in all events with great team spirit and won medals and certificates. Green house won the championship trophy and Blue house won runner up trophy. The sports meet ended with a spirit of sportsmanship and motivation in achieving the greatest of heights.
