The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM) is a well known event with the goal of setting records, motivating people, pushing the limits of human potential, honoring Delhi's culture, and achieving greatness as a group.Similar to the previous two years, the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon's official medical partner this year too was Metro Group of Hospital: Health Care and Education. It has grown to be the city's biggest athletic event and has had a lasting impression on the Nation as a whole, going beyond individual accomplishments. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon was held on October 20th, 2024, starting at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.The End Stretch of the race, which was more than a kilometer long, was managed by a team of faculty and students led by Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, Managing Director, Metro College of Health Sciences and Research, Dr. Sameer Gupta, Group Director, Metro Group of Hospitals, Dr. Kanak Lata, Director-Education, MCHSR, Prof. Pravin Prakash P, Principal, Metro College of Nursing.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Pathak, President- Project Proposed Metro University, successfully finished half marathon in 2 hours and 3 minutes.
With great enthusiasm, the students served mankind while treating the runners with dignity and respect. As students take part in activities like ‘VDHM’ they are better equipped for their future to handle any obstacles that may arise in their line of work.
