The 30th of March 2019 was a memorable day in the life of every fresher of Nursing and Paramedical 2018-19 sessions at Metro College of Nursing, Greater Noida Campus. The freshers’ day was packed with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and cheerfulness. The dress code for the fresher’s day was “dress up with your best ethnic wear”.
The Chief Guest Mr. Anand Kumar Singh, Social Welfare Officer, Gautam Budh Nagar District, Guest of Honor Mr.Jasimul Haque, Chief Secretary & Operations Manager Metro Hospitals & College, Dr.Kanak Lata, Director Education-MCHSR, Prof.Meena Agarwal, Director Nursing and other dignitaries, faculties, staffs present in the function.
Freshers’ day programme started with an invocation song, Ganesh Vanadana dance by senior students and lamp lightening by all the dignitaries. After this the Chief Guest Mr.Anand Kumar Singh given the special keynote and motivated all the students and Academic excellence Cash Awards were given by Mr.Anand Kumar Singh along with senior dignitaries and Mr. Jasimul Haque to the toppers with distinction rank (>80% Marks secured in final examinations 2017-18 sessions) -Ms.Nirmala B.Sc(N) I Year, Ms.Manpreet Kaur B.Sc(N) II Year & Mr.Raj Roshan, Paramedical I Year. Other awards given were for Attendance Excellence Category (>95% of Attendance in 2017-18 sessions), Health Mela events 2018, Gandhi Jayanti events 2018 and Women’s Day events 2019.
