Village adoption programme aims to connect institution of higher education with local communities to address the development challenges through appropriate technologies In India, the poor are always an afterthought. It seems strange, given that it is a country where millions of people live in extreme poverty. The corona virus pandemic has affected us in many ways, but it has affected the poor and the marginalised sections of the society the most. It has resulted in an economic crisis to every poor family.
