Metro College Of Nursing organized a workshop on CHO training from 03/06/2024 to 08/06/2024.
The objectives of CHO workshop is to contribute community development and can help community people to improve access to basic health services. They are most effective when students are properly trained to provide information and services to the community.
38 topics are integrated in the community health Nursing subject of B.Sc / Post Basic BSc Nursing final year syllabus to integrate CHO course in Nursing. The students have undergone a CHO workshop certificate programme in which the following topics are covered:
*Roles & responsibilities of a CHO.
*Records,reports & information system for HWCs.
*Standard treatment protocol for PHC & SC.
*Supportive supervision and performance reviews ......
Students of B.Sc. 4th year and Post Basic B.Sc 2nd year attended this training workshop.
There was active participation from the students which made the session lively and interactive.
