Metro College of Nursing organized 2 days induction programme for the fresh entrants to B.Sc (N) and Post Basic B.Sc (N) programme. The objective of the programme was to acclimatize the students to the new environment and get them acquainted with the institution culture. The programme schedule is as follows
Due to covid-19 pandemic the orientation programme was organized for two days with half of students per day.The programme of both days were formally started by lighting of lamp by the dignitaries: Dr. Kanak Lata, Director of education, Prof. Pranati Barua, Principal, Prof. Kiran Taneja, Vice-Principal, Mr. Devendra Singh, Asst. administrator, Mr. Gaurav, H.R Manager, Programme Coordinators and Class Coordinators.
Prof. Pranati Barua, Principal, welcomed the students and their parents and highlighted the need of persistent planning and execution strategies to achieve the academic vision targeted.
On the behalf of our esteemed directors, Dr. Kanak Lata, Director of Education, showered blessings to the students and addressed them with motivational speech that will definitely make a positive impact on to their life.
Mr. Devendra Singh, Asst. Administrator, addressed the students and mentioned the rules and regulations of MCHSR.
Prof. Kiran Taneja, Vice-Principal and Mr. Gaurav, H.R Manager, also addressed the students and enlighten them about hard work and success.
A PowerPoint presentation was done on Metro Group and Metro College of Nursing showing the establishments and about the nursing programmes with all details.
Students collected their books/kits provided by MCN from the dignitaries. Each day’s plethora ended with vote of thanks
An orientation to the physical facilities, academic programmes will be organized on 1st December 2020.
