Name : REPORT ON SKILL BASED TRAINING ON NORMAL DELIVERY AND AMTSL

The Department of OBG Nursing along with M.Sc Nursing Students organized a skill based training on Normal Delivery and AMTSL from 21.3.22 to 23.3.22. The objective of the training was to acquaint the students with the procedure of normal delivery and AMTSL and help them in developing the required skills in the concerned area. The training programme was planned as follows
The programme was inaugurated by lamp lighting by the dignitaries: Prof Pravin Prakash, Principal, Prof Sneha Mathew, Dean Student Welfare, OBG Nursing Faculty.
Prof Pravin Prakash, Principal addressed the gathering and enlighten the purpose of the skill based training.
A pre test on knowledge and skill was taken among B.Sc Nursing 4thyr students to assess their existing level of knowledge and skills regarding conduction of normal delivery and AMTSL.
Ms. Rinkal Pandey delivered a Power point presentation to impart knowledge regarding conduction of normal delivery and active management of third stage of labour followed by skill training on the above said topics in groups.
On day 2 involved skill training of students of GNM 3rdyr and B.Sc Nursing 3rdyr
Post Test on knowledge and skills regarding conduction of normal delivery and AMTSL among students to check for the effectiveness of skill based training programme. Total 145 students were trained through the 3 days training session and the session was closed by presenting a momento to Ms. Rinakal Pandey, Student of M.Sc Nursing 2nd year.
