Name : REPORT ON A VISIT TO A MENTAL RETARDATION AND BLIND SCHOOL

Venue : Sparsh Govt. Blind Inter School and Mansik Mandhit Prakinshan kendra, Meerut
Metro College of Nursing organized an Educational visit for B.sc 4th year students to the Sparsh Govt. Blind Inter School and Mansik Mandhit Prakinshan kendra, Meerut on 21-04-2022 and 22-04-2022. The faculty Coordinators were Mr. Muzaffar, Asso. Prof, Ms. Sweta, Nsg Tr. and Ms. Sandhya, Nsg. Tr. The activities of the school were explained by Mr. Gauhar Khan, Principal of Blind and MR School, Mr. Shrikant and his team members.
The Objectives of the visit are listed below -
1. To make students understand the power of empathy, integration, empowerment to a special section of society who are special for lives their lives beautifully with self- confidence, dignity and self- control.
2. To enumerate the facilities provided to the students by the school.
Our students distributed the refreshment and donated ration as token of love to all of them. And our students performed different recreational activities with students of MR and Blind School, they all participated very well and enjoyed too. They realized that we are blessed and we can bless many others by giving love, support, empathy and empowerment. The visit helped the students to understand the social grace & ethics through actual exposure to the differently abled students.
