Metro College of Nursing ,Greater Noida celebrated International Nurses' Day on 12th May 2023 with great zeal and enthusiasm . The theme of this year is 'Our Nurse's, Our Future'.
The day was graced by the blessings of our dear and respected Managing Director Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta and the presence of Nursing Superintendents, Asst. Nursing Superintendents of different centres of Metro Hospitals, Director-Edu ,Principal &Vice principal of Nursing College & Pharmacy College . On this occasion Nursing students took oath to serve mankind through the noble profession. Nightingale awards were given to the best nurses from different centres of parent hospital . Academic excellence awards were given to the class toppers of different batches and subject toppers.
Students performed various cultural programmes and entertained the crowd.
Nurses day is celebrated every year in order to appreciate the work of nurses as an essential part of the healthcare system. Nurses play a vital role in providing quality care to patients and their families. It is a rewarding and challenging profession that requires dedication, hard work and compassion.
