The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon (VDHM)is a renowned event that aims to break records, inspire individuals, push the boundaries of human capabilities, celebrate the spirit of Delhi, and achieve collective greatness. Like last year this year too Metro Group of Hospital: Health Care and Education were the Official Medical Partner in the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon. It has become the largest sporting event in the city and has left a lasting legacy by transcending individual achievements and impacting the country as a whole.
Half Marathon was organized under the name of Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon on 15’th October, 2023 from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
Faculty and students under the leadership of Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, Managing Director, Metro College of Health Sciences and Research, Dr. Sameer Gupta, Group Director, Metro Group of Hospitals, Dr. Kanak Lata, Director- Education, Prof. Pravin Prakash P, Principal, Metro College of Nursing and Prof. Sneha Mathew, DSW along with their team of faculty and students managed the End Stretch of the race of more than 3 kilometres.
The students enthusiastically rendered the service to humanity with full respect and dignity towards the runners. The participation of students in events like ‘VDHM’ prepares them for their future life which will help them to be prepared for any challenges related to the profession.
