Metro College of Health Sciences and Research (Department of Nursing, Paramedical and Pharmacy) celebrated World Health Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. It was a three-day-long celebration on 5th, 6th & 8th April 2024 with the theme "My Health, My Right".
On 5th April, Nursing and Paramedical College organised a Quiz competition and Essay competition on the theme.
On 6th April, a Nukkad Natak performance raising awareness about addiction was put together by students of pharmacy college and health education (individual & group) given by nursing students at the Metro Hospital and Heart Institute, Noida Sector 12, and Metro Multispeciality Hospital, Sector 11.
On 8 April 2024, the students of Nursing, Paramedical and Pharmacy organised various activities such as arts & crafts, rangoli and food fete. The healthy and nutritious food fete organised in stalls with creative expression was the highlight of the celebration, offering students a chance to sample a variety of healthy and tasty dishes from different cuisines. The event featured live cooking demonstrations, nutrition workshops, and interactive food-tasting sessions. Students learned about the importance of a balanced diet and how to incorporate nutritious foods into their daily routines.
