Metro College of Health Sciences and Research in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, UP State Branch celebrated National Pharmacy Week 2024 on November 22, 2024. The event started with best wishes from Dr Sonia Lal Gupta, Managing Director, MCHSR to the entire team followed by felicitation of Guests by Dr Kanak Lata, Director of Education, MCHSR and Dr Praveen Kumar Gaur, Principal, MCHSR. The renowned dignitaries were Mr. Rajesh Srivastava, Assistant Drugs Commissioner (Rtd.), Mr. Jai Singh, Senior Drugs Inspector, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Dr. P. K. Ray, GM, HI Glance Laboratories, Dr. R. N. Gupta, President, IPA, Shri R. A. Gupta, Secretary, IPA and Dr. Puneet Gupta, Professor, Amity University, Noida.
The theme of this year was "Think Health, Think Pharmacy”.
The event offered an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the vital role that pharmacists and their teams play in healthcare and raise awareness about the countless contributions they make to ensuring the well-being of our communities.
The guests shared their life journeys with students and motivated them to learn about the scope of pharmacy. Additionally, pharmacists' roles and responsibilities were discussed. The main highlight of the event was a pharma quiz competition to motivate students, and winners were felicitated with monetary rewards and certificates.
