Metro College of Health Sciences & Researchorganized a grand program on the occasionof “76thIndependence Day” on 13th-15th August 2022.To mark significance of this day, it was dedicated to “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”with immense patriotic fervour and zeal. The students were present along with staff and faculty members to mark this event and they are filled with a feeling of patriotism and dedication.

The program was inaugurated by Director Education Dr. Kanak Lata Madam. Ms. Rashmi Singh (Assistant Professor), MCHSR coordinated the program where she highlighted importance of Consitution of India.
The event of Flag hoisting was conducted in the gracious presence of Honorable Director-education (Dr. Kanak Lata), Principal (Dr. Praveen Gaur), Vice-principal (Dr. Sameer Rastogi) and Admin & HR (Mr. Gaurav Sethi). The program commenced at 09:30 am.Thecelebration was followed withthe hoisting ceremony of the Indian National Flag followed by National Anthem. Further, the students were awarded with the prizes and certificates for events held in celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (13th August 2022).
Many students performed different cultural programs in celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The events including Poster making, Essay writing were conducted for the students. All the students participated in the event voluntarily and participants were highly appreciated for their active participation.
It was very interactive event with a good response from students. Team MCHSR arranged various competition to develop inner skills among students. The event culminated into celebration of 76thIndependence day at MCHSR.
The following activities were organized during 76thIndependence Day Celebration 2022:
• Poster Competition
• Essay Writing Competiton
Students from Diploma and Bachelor participated in the events and showed their talent.
Poster Making
Students showed their creativity by preparing various Posters.Students made beautiful posters with different colors representing themeof the “Azadi ka amritmahotsav”.Winner for Poster competition was Anurag Pandey from B.Pharm 1st year.
Essay Writing Competiton
Topic for Essay writing competition was “Azadi ka amritmahotsav”. Kanak Tiwari and Vivek Mishra from B.Pharm2nd year won 1st and 2nd prize respectively.
All the events turned to be a great success and made the day for many students and staff realizing the importance of the IndependenceDay and need to celebrate it.The participants were very happy to participate in the event and the programreceived wonderful response.
Vote of Thanks
Vote of thanks was given by Ms.Rashmi Singh,Assistant Professor,MCHSR to all especially to the Honorable MD, MCHSR Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, Director of Education Dr. Kanak Latafor their support to organize the program. Vote of thanks was also conveyed to Principal Dr. Praveen Gaur, Vice-principal Dr.Sameer Rastogi, Admin & HR Mr. Gaurav Sethi and all teaching and non-teaching staff members of MCHSR organizing the session and to make this event successful.
