A memorable Tablet distribution event was heldon 18-05-2022 (Wednesday), at Metro college of Health Sciences & Research under the aegis of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh . The Uttar Pradesh government has introduced a new scheme for the technical empowerment of youth, tohelp the students undergoing various certificate, diploma, technical, and degree programs in the state. The government's goal with this initiative is to provide technology to students in the state so that they can thrive in their studies through online learning. The program is designed to provide digital empowerment to the students who cannot afford digital devices i. e. tablets and smartphones for their education. The government is providing free tablets or smartphones to students for their education under this program.
The event started at 3:00 PM and was held in the seminar hall of the college. The event wascommenced by the arrival of the Chief Guest, Shri. Shailender Bahadur Singh, Samaj Kalyan Officer, Gautam Buddh Nagar. Dr. Praveen Kumar Gaur (Principal, MCHSR), and Dr. Sameer Rastogi gave a lively welcome to the chief guest. The program was initiated with lighting the lamp by Principal (MCHSR), Principal (MCN), Vice Principal (MCHSR), HR & Admin, Assistant Registrar. The welcome addresswas deliveredby Assistant Professor Ms. Sadhana and the chief guest was felicitated with a bouquet.
The Honorable chief guest distributed ACER Tablets to 47 B. Pharm final year students. For the students, it was a proud and joyful occasion.
The chief guest addressed the attendees. His encouraging comments guided students and motivated them to accomplish better.
The occasion was then completed with a formal vote of thanks.
