The 70th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress on the theme “Pharma Vision 2030”. Indian Pharma Industry- A Global Leader” was being organized by the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association and were hosted by Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association from 21st to 23 rd December 2018 at Noida where more than six thousand attendees have participated. Aim of the congress was to bring together national and international experts to deliberate on Pharmaceutical Industries, drug control regulation and clinical pharmacy, health management, as well as to provide platform to the participants to exchange and share their expertise and experience so as to update their knowledge, identify the upcoming challenges of the pharmaceutical industry.
Day- 1
The function was inaugurated by Sh. M. Venkaiah Naidu, Hon. Vice President of India. Sh. Naidu said that- He had the good fortune to interact with selected 50 CEOs of the institutions and this interface had enriched the understanding of the higher education sector. Sh. Naidu also said that the growth of an economy has a close linkage with the knowledge generated in its universities. The technical professionals, scientists and researchers trained in these knowledge centers contribute to the nation’s competency level and competitiveness. Their scientific efforts induce greater systemic efficiency through innovation, introduce newer and better products and services, and incentivize follow-up research. All the dignitaries were presented on the occasion viz. President of PCI Dr B. Suresh, Vice President of PCI Dr. S. Saraf, Drug Controller General of India Eswara Reddy. Assist Drug Controller Mr. Atul Nasa, Registrar cum Secretary Mrs. Archana Mudgal, Registrar Delhi pharmacy council Dr. S. L. Nasa, Dean pharmacy AKTU, Dr P. Tripathi they have recognized and appreciated our sponsorship and interaction with them of Dr.kanak Lata, Director of education, Dr.S.Lalwani, Principal MCP and VP of MCP Prof.Sameer, and most of the attendees got to know MCHSR through our sponsorship on ICard.
Day- 2
On the second day of IPC, various technical sessions and scientific programs were continued that were organized by Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPGA). Meditation and diet for longevity and health, stories of successful entrepreneurs of Pharma sector, panel discussion on Opioids in oral palliative medicine, discovering innovative medicines global vs India, redefining the pharmacy curriculum as per industrial needs, E-Selling of Drugs etc. Moderator of panel discussion on opioids in oral palliative medicine was Mr. Atul Nasa, Organizing Secretary, LOC- 70th IPC, Controlling Authority, Drugs Control Department, New Delhi. And CEOs from Med.Life and 1mg.com and various chart presentation by the Scholars’ from different institution from all over india
Day- 3
Technical session’s i.e. emerging role of Excipients in enhancing quality attributes, poster presentations were in continuation.
Entertainment day of the congress was day third, and started with various Kids, students and faculty walk for the cause with show stopper was conducted by Shreya Chopra miss India Glammon 2017-18.
The chief guest of Valedictory function was Holiness Anand Murti Guru Maa. The program was concluded by prize distribution, felicitation ceremony and National anthem.
The team members of MCHSR were presented and actively participated during the program. Dr. Kanak lata, Director of Education, Mr. Jasimul Haque, Chief secretary & Senior Manager Operations, Dr. Surendra lalwani, Principal, Prof Sameer Rastogi, Vice Principal were attended the congress. Dr. Vijay Bhalla and Dr. Manish Gupta appreciated and congratulated the team of MCHSR for sponsorship and full time presence during the programs for all three days.
