Metro College of Health Sciences & Research, Greater Noida organized a one-day educational visit to Mother Dairy, Patparganj, Delhi for D. Pharm 1st and 2nd year students along with faculty members on 22 February 2023.
The objective of the visit was to monitor the processing of milk and milk products. Students also got information about the processes of purification, further filtration, standardization, homogenization, and pasteurization of milk. Further, during testing, quality and purity of the milk was checked as per standards. Students also got the opportunity to witness how a milk plant is conserving the environment by using solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and effluent treatment plants to protect the environment.
