Students of Metro College of Health Sciences & Research (Pharmacy), Greater Noida visited Mega Science Expo also entitled “Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate” on 26th February, 2022 organized at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. It has been organized by Government of India as a week-long science exhibition as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commemoration, simultaneously in 75 locations across the India to celebrate the Science & Technology achievements over the 75 years. The event was jointly organised by AICTE and various governmental departments like Department of Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Indian Council of Medical Research, with a mandate to promote science communication in the country. Various stakeholders presented their knowledge and expertise through various stalls in this event.
The key features of the event were-

• 75 expositions, 75 lectures, 75 films, 75 radio talks, 75 science literary activities
• Details from the annals of the history of Science and Technology
• Milestones of Modern Indian Science and Technology
• Swadeshi Paramparik Inventions and Innovations, Science and Technology

A total of 45 B. Pharm and D. Pharm students from MCHSR visited the event alongwith Mr. Aamir Malik (Assistant Professor), Mr. Hashim Khan (Assistant Professor), Ms. Priyadarshani Soni (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Raju Singh (Assistant Professor). Students of MCHSR visited various stalls in the event and explored new technologies in the field of science. The main purpose of this visit was to make students familiar with the emerging trends in Science & Technology and motivate them towards these trends so that they can find a better way to make their future bright.
