Metro College of Health Sciences & Research (Pharmacy) has organized a special event as a part of Student Induction Program for the students of B.Pharm I yearand D.Pharm I year to make them College ready. Session-1 of Module-1in Student Induction Program, day-2 was convened on 28thSeptember 2022 by Dr. Kanak Lata (Director-Education), MCHSR. The event was also graced by the presence of Prof.(Dr.) Praveen kumar Gaur, Principal MCHSR, Prof.(Dr.) Sameer Rastogi, Vice Principal, MCHSR and Mr. Govind Panday from the HO.
Module-1 is primarily Universal Human Values-I (UHV-I). Dr. Kanak Lata madam initiated the session by introducing the students with the management of MCHSR, she also thanked the Chairman Dr. Purshotam Lal, Group Director Mrs. Poonam Lal, and Managing Director Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, for their extensive support and encouragement.
In the session madam spoke about the purpose of education, which is to facilitate the development of clarity on the aspirations and adequate competence required to actualize it. She explained the importance of self exploration and presented the difference between moral values and universal human values with numerous practical examples she welcomed the views of students with great enthusiasm. She talked about the four tools which help the students to analyze right understandings for their day to day decision makings through setting examples of life related problems. The session was made engrossing for the students with number of opinion-based questions, Dr. Kanak madam, also conducted a short session where in willing students were called upon the stage to present their views on life allied situations, she encouraged the students to speak from their heart irrespective of language barriers. All the students overwhelmingly took part in the practical sessions. She also took reflections of students related to the session thus making it interactive and interesting.
A vote of thanks was given by Dr. Rosaline Mishra, Professor, MCHSR to Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, MD, MCHSR, forher support and encouragement, she thanked Dr. Kanak lata madam for her extremely informative and energetic session. A vote of thanks was also
conveyed to Dr. Praveen Kumar Gaur (Principal), Dr. Sameer Rastogi (Vice-principal),Mr. Govind and all faculty members of MCHSR for organizing the session and making this event successful. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rosaline Mishra and Ms. Rashmi Singh.
