Village adoption programme aim to connect institution of higher education with local communities to address the development challenges through appropriate technologies. With the current pandemic situation which has disturbed the normal lifestyle of the people across the globe. Keeping this point of view Metro college of Nursing and Metro college of pharmacy participated in health awareness Campaign under ”Village adoption Programme” among residence of Shafipur Village for the prevention of COVID-19 .
As a part of the theme , a health awareness Campaign in the form of health education with question answer session , , distribution of pamphlets , distribution of masks and demonstration on hand washing activities were organized by Metro college of Nursing and Metro College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida at Shafipur Village on 25 November 2020.
Objectives :- To create awareness and education about COVID 19 , its cause/risk factors , symptoms , detection ,prevention and treatment of COVID-19.

Awareness is the best tool to fight the disease .So, a health education , distribution of pamphlets and demonstration on hand washing was organized for the residence of shafipur village, Greater Noida to generate the awareness about the prevention of COVID-19 . Participants in the awareness campaign were nursing and pharmacy students, faculty supervisors of Metro college of nursing and pharmacy and villagers of shafipur Village .
