Under the guidance of our Chairman, Dr. purushotam Lal, Managing Director Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, an ORIENTATION PROGRAM-LAKSHYA-2018 was organized in college campus for the B. Pharm. and D. Pharm. students at Metro College of Health sciences & Research. The aim was to familiarize parents as “as partners in progress” with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the college.
The program commenced with a warm welcome to the students followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Maa Saraswati Vandana. The Director education, Dr. Kanak Lata, addressed the gathering. In her speech she laid stress on effective communication between the teachers & the parents and also sought their support and suggestions so that the children could be provided the best for their overall development. She also get introduced whole staff one by one and their role with their contribution. Principal Dr. Surendra Lalwani blessed the new comers with guidelines about effective parenting. He also suggested different measures to nurture the child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future.
The parents and students were briefed about the rules and regulations of college by prof. Sameer Rastogi Later the teacher gave an overview of various subjects like maths, english, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics and not to forget the co-scholastic activities which gives them an assurance that the curriculum involves self directed, hands-on learning activities which not only gives vent to their creative talents and energies.
The orientation program proved to be sincere efforts made by the college in educating the parent’s to look after and guide their children in a proper manner to achieve the common goal of college and parent.
