An academician with a keen interest in applied research in the fields of novel drug delivery, Dr. Praveen Kumar Gaur is currently serving as Principal and Professor at Metro College of Health Sciences & Research (MCHSR-Pharmacy), Greater Noida. He has more than 16 years of experience of teaching graduate/postgraduate students along with guidance to 19 M. Pharm students and 3 PhD scholars.
He has been awarded as Best Teacher in Pharmacy stream at University level by Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak formerly Vice chancellor, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow on the occasion of Teachers day (5 September 2019). He has been a Board of Studies (BOS) member of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Currently, he is a member of resource identification team of e-consortium of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
His dedication to research has resulted in more than 60 articles in journals of high repute (i.e. Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Bentham Science, Hindawi etc) along with two books. He also grabbed two Indian patents to his credit. Dr. Gaur is serving as Editorial board member in various International journals in the variety of fields like Nanotechnology, Transdermal Drug Delivery and Novel Drug Delivery Systems. He has received Visvesvaraya Research Promotion Scheme (VRPS) research grant by Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji funded by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
His organizational and leadership skills materialized into successful organization of 1 International seminar and 1 National seminar, both funded by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and an AICTE-ATAL funded Faculty development program.
Dr. Gaur keeps a positive approach towards the life and believes in simple living, high thinking. His mantra in life is “Education is a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning”.
