Dr. Rahul Kaushik is an academic researcher with keen interest in exploring herbs and Ayurvedic formulations acting on Central Nervous System with special interest in Antiepileptics. Dr. Rahul Kaushik is working with Metro College of Health Sciences and Research (MCHSR-Pharmacy), Greater Noida as Professor.
Dr. Rahul Kaushik did his B.Pharm, M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy) and Ph.D. from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, India. He also did 3 months General Course in Intellectual Property (GCIP) from World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva in Online mode. With more than 11.5 years of experience in Industrial Research and Academics Dr. Rahul Kaushik has guided more than 30 undergraduates and 2 post graduates. As a part of Continuous Pharmacy Education (CPE) he has participated in various ATAL Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) organized by reputed Government and semi-government institutions. He has authored more than 41 research and review articles in various International and National journals of repute and attended more than 28 National and International conferences and seminars. Dr. Kaushik has delivered various invited lecture in National and International Conferences at reputed institutions like IIT-BHU South Campus etc. He has contributed Book chapters in various national and international publishers like Springer’s, Germany, Springer Singapore and Nova Publishers, USA. He is also serving as Scientific reviewer for various publishers like Dove Press, Bentham Publishers etc.
Dr. Rahul Kaushik is having special interest in Pharmaceutical Journalism and serving as Editorial Board member in journals like Acta Pharmakon, International Journal of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, etc. He is member of various national and international organizations like Commonwealth Pharmacist’s Association, London, Scientific and Technical Research Association (STRA), Life time member of International Natural Product Sciences Taskforce (INPST), Association of Pharmacy Teachers in India (APTI), Teaching and Education Research Association (TERA), Foundation for Health and Environmental Research (FHER), Pharmaceutical International Royal Society (PRISAL), Advisory Board member for Indian Pharma Educational Society (IPES), and Bentham Brand Ambassador of Bentham Science Publishers.
His areas of interest are Quality control of Herbal drugs, Ayurvedic formulations, Chromatographic fingerprinting, Phytochemistry and herbal Anticonvulsants.
