honour the faculty members and advance the new National Education Policy (NEP),
Shikshak Parv was observed at MCHSR-Pharmacy and MCN. An inaugural colloquium was
hosted by the Ministry of Education, CBSE, AICTE, and the Ministry of Skill
Development and Entrepreneurship to mark the beginning of Shikshak Parv.
Teachers are required to develop the future action plan in accordance with the
idea of an integrated and interdisciplinary approach under NEP 2020. A
teacher's strong cooperation and coordination is the key to developpupils'
character and skills.
On
September 5th, we commemorate Teachers' Day across the nation. On
this day, students show their respectand gratitude to their teachers. Dr.
Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India's second president, is honoured on this day.
The brilliant academic philosopher, one of the most renowned diplomat,
researcher, Indian president, but most importantly, a teacher. His birthday is
commemorated as Teachers' Day as an homage to this outstanding educator.
Metro
college of Health Sciences & Research (Pharmacy and Nursing), Greater
Noida, celebrated Shikshak Parv with a lot of zest and excitement to continue
this tradition.
The
following activities were organized during Shikshak Parv 2022 celebrations:
Day 1: 5th
September 2022 (Teacher’s Day Celebration)
Studentsdecorated
the seminar hall with the decorative items on the eve of Teacher’s Day and all the
faculties were welcomed warmly.
The
welcome program was started by message from our Honourable Managing Director Dr.
Sonia Lal Gupta. She motivated the faculty members and applauded their contribution
towards Nation building. The Director of EducationDr. KanakLata addressed the
gathering and inspired the students to develop into good person. She underlined
the passion, tenacity, and dedication a teacher must have for their job and
challenged the educators to improve their pedagogy through experiential
learning.
The
cultural programme started with a singing performance and an Indo-Western dance
performance added colours to the programme.All teachers cheered and motivated
their colleagues with a wide smile. Students requested all the faculty members
to cut the cake and make the day more memorable and successful.In the end, all
the students acknowledged all the teachers for providing a good education.
The
entire programwas applauded by everyone present and will always remain a
beautiful memory in the hearts of one and all present.
Day 2: 7th
September 2022 (Teacher’s Joyful Voyage to Rangmanch farms, Gurugram)
In
order to give teachers a day off from their busy schedules, Metro College of
Health Sciences and Research organized Teacher's Joyful Voyage on September 7,
2022 at Rangmanch Farms in Gurugram, Haryana.
Around 7:00 am, all of the faculty
members convened in college, and around 8:00 am, they left the collegein the
college bus. At about 11:00 am, they reached at Rangmanch Farms.
The rural setting of Rangmanch Farm
provided an opportunity to participate in the daily life of our village folks. In
the background of lush green fields, this area serves as a rustic entrance to
an ethnic hamlet that offers sports and adventure activities, live folk music
and dance performances, and traditional handicrafts made by artisans.
Tilak application and a traditional
folk dance were continuation of the Resort staff's term of endearment to us.
Furthera delicious breakfast was followed by a tour of the Farm.
The teachers relished adventure
activitieslike zipline, Tug of war, 10 row course, Rappelling, Rope ladder,
Camel ride, Tractor ride, Zig Zag crossing, Bull ride and several indoor games
on the green grass lawn, which was the next spot team visited.Everyone had the
chance to engage and have delight.
After a tiring and fun packed
morning, we all headed for lunch where we all relished different items of
food.After lunch everyone jumped in the pool with excitement. There was
rain dance where all were excited and shook their legs to the thumping
dance numbers which were played near the pool.
Away from their daily hectic schedules,
teachers found some respite in the embrace of nature. Everyone expressed a wish
to return to the location in the hereafter. It was a magnificent day out packed
with music, dance, entertainment, games, activities, and food.
The trip concluded with safe and
sound return by 6:00 pm.
Day 3: 9th September 2022 (Vote of Thanks followed by Lunch)
The
Valedictory Session was scheduled for the final day of Shikshak Parv. A special
Thanks was conveyed tothe Managementof Metro group, especially our Honourable
MD Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, MCHSR for her support for the festivities and
encouragement to all the faculty members. She also motivated all of us for the
team building and noble deeds.
Dr. Kanak
Lata, Director of Education, opened the session with a speech in which she
emphasized the significance of teachers in developing students' personalities
and creating a society founded on moral principles. She also gave the teachers
encouragement and blessings for their future work. The entire faculty received
a vote of gratitude, with special recognition going to Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta, MD,
MCHSR, Dr. Kanak Lata, Director of Education, and Mr. Gaurav Sethi, Head Admin&
HR for their assistance in planning the program. A vote of gratitude was given
to the Principal-MCP Dr. Praveen Gaur, Principal-MCN Prof. Pravin Prakash,Vice-principal
(MCP) Dr. Sameer Rastogi, Vice-principal (MCN) Prof. Muzzafar , Dean- MCN Prof.
Sneha & All faculty Members. The MCHSR management then hosted a lavish lunch
for the entire staff.
