Teacher’s
day is celebrated every year on 5th September as in the country. A day
dedicated to teachers and their contributions in shaping one's life, it
commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a
Bharat Ratna recipient and the first Vice President and second President
of independent India. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born on
September 5, 1888.
This occasion was
celebrated in Lok Bhavan Uttar Pradesh, 15 Assembly Road, Lucknow on
dated 5th September, 2019. Chief Minister Honarable Yogi Adityanath and
program was presided by governor of Uttar Pradesh Mrs. Anandi Ben Patel.
The live telecast on D. D. Uttar Pradesh was shown to the pharmacy
students and all teachers of Metro College of Health Sciences &
Research (MCHSR), Greater Noida on dated 11:30 am. The Governor of Uttar
Pradesh awarded the teachers by 1. Saraswati prize, 2. Shikshak Shri
Prize, 3. Rajya Adhyapak Prize, 4. Mukhya Mantri Adhyapak Prize. The
ceremony had inspired all faculty members to contribute more in
shaping-up the students.
